The Schnauzy Pawz Way

We are some of few lucky people in the world who can say they grew up alongside Miniature Schnauzers. We got our first Miniature Schnauzer back in 2005, and she with us for a wonderful 13 years until ovarian cancer got the best of her. There wasn't a day she didn't let us know how much she loved us (and we made sure to do the same).

It would be almost two years after her abrupt departure that we brought Archie into our lives. He came into our new home on the 3rd of January of 2020, and it would be almost 10 months later that his partner in crime Raisin joined our family. We hope to build a legacy where we can recreate some of the wonderful memories we had growing up, with those looking for their next furbaby.

Our goal goes beyond selling Miniature Schnauzers. It's our mission to provide the missing piece to a happy family, and we can't think of a better way than by adding a Miniature Schnauzer. Our mission starts with raising healthy and properly raised Miniature Schnauzer puppies that will be ready for their furever homes.

Ensuring a Healthy and Diverse Lineage

We began this journey by ensuring that our breeding dogs come from different lineages. Our Miniature Schnauzers come from different breeders across multiple states. All of our Mini Schnauzers are AKC registered, meeting the standards from a nationally recognized organization that’s been around since 1884. Our dogs received a comprehensive vet exam before joining our family, and have been frequently going to the vet for regular checkups and maintenance. All of Mini Schnauzers are Embark DNA tested, and go through annual OFA testing for heart murmurs and eye cataracts.

Well Balanced Diet

The next step towards our mission is their diet & exercise, which we humbly say we go beyond the extra mile. Miniature Schnauzers have a history of having upset stomachs, so we make sure that we are only feeding our dogs food that we would eat ourselves. Our dogs receive 3 meals a day, with most of them being a mixture of dry food and freshly made human-grade cuisine. For dry food, our Miniature Schnauzers eat Purina Pro and RAW Instinct, receiving a nutritionally balanced diet. To add some spice to their meals, we also mix in freshly made foods that we would later prepare for ourselves (we essentially eat the scraps). On occasion, we also bring our dogs a nutritionally packed meal when we bring food from our local eateries, making sure that dinner time includes everyone.

Active Lifestyle

After a meal and many times throughout the day, we stretch our legs and venture our neighborhood with our Miniature Schnauzers. Our Mini Schnauzers have been trained since Day 1 to walk around unencumbered. It's easy in the beginning as they instinctively follow their guardian, but as they grow up they tend to instinctively want to explore their world around them. To help establish control, our dogs wear e-collars that curbs their behavior when they are out and about. The e-collar quickly establishes boundaries for our dogs, and being quick learners as they are, it doesn't take long for the collars to be reminders rather than punishers. Our Miniature Schnauzers actually happily stick out their necks to put their collars on as they know it means they are in for a good time. Since being off leash is mostly all they know how to be, we are even able to go on our bikes and put the pedal to the metal, being in complete control the entire time. Nothing beats seeing your Miniature Schnauzer with a big smile on their face as they go full zoomies down the street with you.

With a perfectly balanced diet and daily exploring to cover 5 football fields, we hope to share many memories with our Miniature Schnauzers for many years to come. It's our dream to share that opportunity to others.

We are here to fill in the missing piece to a happy family. Taking care of our Miniature Schnauzers is only half of the equation. The second half is making sure that our puppies are going to families that will cherish them with love while also having the time to receive that love back twofold. Below you can read all of the different measures we take to make sure our babies go to their furever home.

Doing Our Homework

Our Interest Application Form is our first step in determining our puppies furever homes. After a form is submitted, we follow up with the potential family to see the lifestyle that our Miniature Schnauzers will be submerged into. While we don't shy away from new pet owners, we want to make sure that our babies get the love they deserve. Miniature Schnauzers are amazing companions but tend to suffer from anxiety when separated from their favorite Human for too long. Miniature Schnauzers also have a thirst to explore and learn new tricks, and if this isn't satiated they'll find a way to entertain themselves (usually at the homeowners expense). That's why we believe the ideal family is one that can smother our babies with love and bring out the Einstein in them

Always a Click or Call Away

All of our Miniature Schnauzers come with a dedicated Schnauzy Expert to help house break your new Miniature Schnauzer baby for the first two weeks. This expert will be available 24/7 through text or email and by phone with extended service hours.

However, whether it be a day after the two weeks, one year after, or 20 years after (fingers crossed), our Schnauzy Pawz family will always be a call, text, or email away. You can contact us during our service hours and someone will get back to you shortly to help you with your Schnauzer needs.

Here for the Unexpected

Life can throw a lot curve balls, but we are always here to catch it no matter which direction it may go. We get it, not everything goes as expected. The new place you're moving into doesn't accept pets, your child ends had a secret phobia towards dogs, or the chapter with your significant other might come to unexpected end.

No matter the situation, we are here to give you some comfort in an otherwise uncomfortable situation. Should you ever find yourself in the position where you can no longer keep your furbaby, know that we will work with you to bring our baby back, and welcome you with open arms when you find yourself in a more stable situation.
